MANTRAM TRI SANDHYA (Three Time Prayer)

 

OM BHUR BHVAH SVAH
TAT SAVITUR VARENYAM
BHARGO DEVASYA DHIMAHI
DHIYO YO NAH PRACODAYAT

 

 Lord is the Earth, Sky and the Heavens. Let us meditate on the light of the sun, which represents God, and may our thoughts be inspired by that divine light.

 

OM NARAYANA EVEDAM SARVAM
YAD BHUTAM YAC CA BHAVYAM
NISKALANKO NIRAÑJANO NIRVIKALPO
NIRAKHYATAH SUDDO DEVA EKO
NARAYANO NA DVITÌYO'STI KASCIT

 

 Lord, Narayana is all that has been and what will be, free from taint, free from dirt, ever existing and without form, holy god Narayana, He is only one and there is no other.

 

OM TVAM SIVAH TVAM MAHADEVAH
ÌSVARAH PARAMESVARAH
BRAHMA VISNUSCA RUDRASCA
PURUSAH PARIKÌRTITAH

 

 Lord, you called Shiva, Mahadeva, Iswara, Parameswara, Brahma, Vishnu, Rudra, Purusa; the supreme soul, source of everything..

 

OM PAPO'HAM PAPAKARMAHAM
PAPATMA PAPASAMBHAVAH
TRAHI MAM PUNDARIKAKSA
SABAHYABHYANTARAH SUCIH

 

 Oh Lord, I am full of sorrow, my action is full of sins, my soul so destitute, and my birth is also so poor. Save me from all this sorrow, purify my body and mind.

 

OM KSAMASVA MAM MAHADEVA
SARVAPRANI HITANKARA
MAM MOCA SARVA PAPEBYAH
PALAYASVA SADA SIVA

 

 Lord, forgive me MahaDeva, He who gives salvation to all sentient beings, save me from all this sorrow, guide me, redeem and protect me, O Sada Shiva

 

OM KSANTAVYAH KAYIKO DOSAH
KSANTAVYO VACIKO MAMA
KSANTAVYO MANASO DOSAH
TAT PRAMADAT KSAMASVA MAM

 

 Lord, Forgive my sinful deed, forgive my wrong speech, forgive my sinful mind, forgive me for all those misdeeds.
